《焦點荷蘭》鹿特丹愛樂管絃樂團

鹿特丹和高雄分別是荷蘭與臺灣兩大海港城市，以文化連結，以樂會友，《焦點荷蘭》鹿特丹愛樂管絃樂團音樂會應運而生，邀請眾樂迷親臨音樂盛宴。

未滿三十即入主鹿特丹愛樂擔任首席指揮，2020/21樂季又從大師祖賓．梅塔手中，接下以色列愛樂總監一職，曾獲馬勒國際指揮大賽首獎指揮家沙尼近年以富含情感又穩重大器的風格，成為歐洲當代最受矚目的指揮之一。沙尼指揮時動作並不誇張，但雙手細膩自由的變化，總能讓各聲部線條交織出最綿密飽滿的聲響。這次兩場演出，將與鹿特丹愛樂帶來布拉姆斯琢磨二十年、突破生涯瓶頸的第一號交響曲，與柴可夫斯基寫盡人生體悟的《悲愴》交響曲，展現其成熟品味。

6月16日的節目在布拉姆斯交響曲外，小提琴家黃俊文還將帶來布拉姆斯小提琴協奏曲，呈現作曲家更內在、融合狂想與寧靜的一面。6月17日節目上半場聚焦貝多芬以狂飆精神拓展古典音樂語彙的第三號鋼琴協奏曲，由2021蕭邦大賽首獎得主劉曉禹擔綱獨奏，這是他首次在臺演出協奏曲，令人引頸期待。

Before he was even thirty, Lahav SHANI joined the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra as Chief Conductor. In the 2020/21 music season, he took over the position of Music Director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra from Maestro Zubin MEHTA, and has become one of the preeminent conductors in Europe with his emotional, calm, and dignified style. Instead of exaggerating conducting gestures, SHANI excels in delicate and unrestrained hand movements, bringing up the more dense and full acoustic from each instrument section. In these two performances, SHANI and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will be presenting Johannes BRAHMS's Symphony No. 1, which took the composer twenty years to finish and was the breakthrough of his career bottleneck, and Pyotr Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY's Symphony Pathétique, into which TCHAIKOVSKY instilled his life experiences and sophisticated taste.

In both concerts, the Rotterdam Philharmonic will be joined by soloists for concertos. On June 16th, violinist Paul HUANG will perform BRAHMS's Violin Concerto, which shows the composer's intimate thoughts, integrating wildness and tranquility.

On June 17th, in his highly anticipated Taiwan debut, Bruce LIU, first prize winner of the 2021 Chopin Competition, will play Ludwig van BEETHOVEN's Piano Concerto No. 3, which expanded the vocabulary of classical music with a hurricane spirit.

首席指揮｜拉哈夫．沙尼

2018年9月拉哈夫．沙尼自亞尼克．聶澤．賽金手中接下鹿特丹愛樂首席指揮一職，成為該樂團史上最年輕的首席指揮。2020/21樂季，沙尼繼祖賓．梅塔之後，接下以色列愛樂音樂總監的職位。2017/18樂季，沙尼成為了維也納交響樂團的首席客座指揮，自2015年5月首次與維也納交響樂團合作以來，他曾多次與該樂團共同登臺演出，包括2016年1月的大型歐洲巡迴表演。此外，他也定期與柏林國家管絃樂團合作，除了在柏林國家歌劇院進行表演外，也參與交響樂音樂會的演出。

1989年生於特拉維夫的沙尼在6歲那年便開始修習鋼琴，最初師從漢娜．沙爾吉，後來則在故鄉特拉維夫的布赫曼–梅塔音樂學院師事阿里．瓦迪教授。在進入柏林漢斯．艾斯勒音樂學院就讀後，他一方面跟著法比奧．比迪尼教授繼續磨練其鋼琴技藝，另一方面則跟著克里斯蒂安．愛華德教授學習指揮技巧。此外，在學期間也曾受知名鋼琴家兼指揮家丹尼爾．巴倫波因指導。2013年，在德國班貝格舉行的馬勒國際指揮大賽中，他更一舉奪下首獎殊榮。2016年6月，沙尼以指揮家和鋼琴獨奏家的身分，首次與鹿特丹愛樂展開合作；兩個月後，便宣布了沙尼將自2018年起擔任其首席指揮一職。

Conductor｜Lahav SHANI

Lahav SHANI is chief conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. He assumed his position in September 2018, succeeding Yannick Nézet-SÉGUIN and becoming the youngest Chief Conductor in the orchestra’s history. In the 2020/21 season, SHANI succeeded Zubin MEHTA as Music Director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. In the 2017/18 season, SHANI became Principal Guest Conductor of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, following a number of appearances with the orchestra since his debut in May 2015, including a major European tour in January 2016. He also works regularly with the Berlin Staatskapelle, both at the Berlin Staatsoper and also for symphonic concerts.

SHANI was born in Tel Aviv in 1989 and started his piano studies aged six with Hannah SHALGI, continuing with Prof. Arie VARDI at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv. He went on to complete his studies in conducting with Prof. Christian EHWALD and piano with Prof. Fabio BIDINI, both at the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin. Whilst a student he was mentored by Daniel BARENBOIM. In 2013 he won First Prize in the Gustav Mahler International Conducting Competition in Bamberg.

June 2016 saw Lahav SHANI’s debut with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra as a conductor and as a piano soloist; his appointment as Chief Conductor from 2018 was announced two months later.

小提琴｜黃俊文

臺灣小提琴家黃俊文於 2015 年獲得艾佛瑞‧費雪事業獎， 2017 年獲得林肯中心新銳藝術家獎。華盛頓郵報在他甘迺迪中心的獨奏會後更評論他為「具備著完美條件的藝術家, 必定將有一番偉大的演奏生涯」。黃俊文於2014年替小提琴宓多里代打與史拉特金率領的底特律交響樂團合作「西貝流士小提琴協奏曲」，轟動樂壇，也為他開啟了多采多姿的演奏生涯。黃俊文近期合作的樂團包含德國紐倫堡交響樂團，鹿特丹愛樂與沙尼、達拉斯交響樂團路易西、馬林斯基與葛濟夫、休士頓交響樂團與艾斯查達、首爾愛樂以及巴爾的摩交響樂團與史坦茲、臺北市立交響樂團與瓦格、及臺灣國家交響樂團與馬寇爾等。近期除了於瑞士琉森音樂節及美國亞斯本音樂節的獨奏會首演，黃俊文亦於美國維爾音樂節為小提琴家安·蘇菲·穆特代打演奏莫札特第四號小提琴協奏曲。黃俊文使用的琴為1742年 “維尼奧夫斯基” 耶穌·瓜內里名琴, 由史特拉底瓦里協會長期贊助出借。黃俊文定居紐約並任教於國立臺北藝術大學。

Violin｜Paul HUANG
Recipient of the prestigious 2015 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the 2017 Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists, violinist Paul HUANG is considered to be one of the most distinctive artists of his generation. The Washington Post proclaimed him as "an artist with the goods for a significant career" following his recital debut at the Kennedy Center. Mr. HUANG’s recent and forthcoming appearances include Nürnberger Symphoniker with Kahchun WONG, Residentie Orkest Den Haag with Jun MÄRKL, Rotterdam Philharmonic with Lahav SHANI, Dallas Symphony with Fabio LUISI, Mariinsky Orchestra with Gergiev, Houston Symphony with Andres Orozco-Estrada, Seoul Philharmonic with Markus STENZ, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan with Jun MÄRKL. In addition to his recital debuts at both Lucerne Festival and Aspen Music Festival, Paul also stepped in for Anne-Sophie Mutter at Bravo! Vail Music Festival with Chamber Orchestra Vienna-Berlin performing MOZART Violin Concerto No.4 to critical acclaim. Paul performs on the legendary 1742 Ex-Wieniawski Guarneri del Gesu, on extended loan from the Stradivari Society of Chicago. He resides in New York and is currently on the faculty of Taipei National University of the Arts.

鋼琴｜劉曉禹

2021年第18屆華沙國際蕭邦鋼琴大賽冠軍。 加拿大《電訊報》形容劉曉禹的彈奏「充滿力度與光澤，且運用了嚴謹的思考，完美地呈現作品的精髓」是當代最具有音樂活力和技術天賦的青年鋼琴家之一。劉曉禹曾與克里夫蘭交響樂團、以色列愛樂樂團、蒙特婁交響樂團、華沙國家愛樂樂團、NHK 交響樂團、波蘭國家廣播交響樂團、首爾愛樂交響樂團等演出。他曾與中國國家大劇院管絃樂團於北美巡演，演出拉威爾：G大調鋼琴協奏曲。《國家郵報》描述「他的彈奏透著一層微妙的法國色彩和情感」。近期劉曉禹與烏克蘭國家交響樂團及利沃夫愛樂樂團於北京音樂廳、上海東方藝術中心、長沙音樂廳，以及北京國家圖書館藝術中心演出。 他與加拿大廣播電台錄製過巴赫、貝多芬、蕭邦、拉威爾和薩堤（Erik SATIE）等作品，於世界播放。《北美古典之聲》讚賞「旋律線條清晰，觸鍵透亮鮮明，彈奏如行雲流水對比分明，抒情地描繪出動人的情境。這就是曉禹要你聽到的！」1997 年出生於巴黎。劉曉禹於蒙特婁音樂學院期間，跟隨理查德．雷蒙學習，目前繼續隨鋼琴大師鄧泰山學習。

Bruce LIU was brought to the world’s attention in 2021, when he won the First Prize at the 18th Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw.

Following his competition’s success, he immediately embarks on a world tour, appearing at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Wiener Konzerthaus, BOZAR Brussels, Tokyo Opera City, Sala São Paulo, Royal Festival Hall with the Philharmonia Orchestra, U.S tour with the Warsaw Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Past highlights include performance with ensembles such as the Cleveland Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as North-America tour with the China NCPA Orchestra.

His upcoming highlights include debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, European tour with Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Wiener Symphoniker at Musikverein, festival appearances at la Roque d’Anthéron, Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Rheingau, Edinburgh, Chopin and his Europe, Duszniki, and Gstaad Menuhin.

An exclusive recording artist with Deutsche Grammophon, his first album featuring the winning performances from the Chopin Competition won a Fryderyk Award and received international acclaim including both the Critics’ choice and Editor’s choice from the Gramophone Magazine, as well as being included in its list of Best classical albums from 2021.

"What we all have in common is our difference", the young pianist likes to say. Born in Paris to Chinese parents, Bruce LIU grew up in Montreal. His life has been steeped in cultural diversity, which has shaped his differences in attitude, personality and character. He draws on various sources of inspiration for his art: European refinement, Chinese long tradition, North American dynamism and openness. Following his artist path with optimism and a smile, his teachers include Richard RAYMOND and DANG Thai-son.

鹿特丹愛樂管絃樂團

Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra distinguishes itself with its intensely energetic performances, its acclaimed recordings and its innovative audience approach. Founded in 1918, it has claimed its own position among Europe’s most foremost orchestras. After the first pioneering years, the Rotterdam Philharmonic developed into one of the foremost orchestras of the Netherlands under Eduard FLIPSE, principal conductor from 1930. In the 1970s, under Jean FOURNET and Edo de WAART, the orchestra gained international recognition. Valery GERGIEV’s appointment heralded a new period of bloom, which continued with Yannick Nézet-SÉGUIN and with Lahav SHANI, principal conductor from 2018.

Home of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra is De Doelen Concert Hall, but the orchestra can frequently be heard in other locations – from the local venues to the most prestigious halls at home and abroad. Since 2010, the Rotterdam Philharmonic has been a resident orchestra of the Paris Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
