【2024花露露的童樂節】澳洲瑟卡馬戲團《動物狂歡節》

本節目由澳洲瑟卡馬戲團及昆士蘭表演藝術中心 Out of the Box藝術節製作

國際知名的當代馬戲團「澳洲瑟卡馬戲團」來自澳洲布里斯本，將帶來融合馬戲表演、多媒體和音樂的作品《動物狂歡節》。這部作品以魔法般的手法重新改編法國浪漫主義作曲家卡米爾・聖桑的經典音樂組曲，適合全家大小一同欣賞。  

瑟卡馬戲團的表演者將扮演來自陸、海、空的各種動物，為大朋友與小朋友帶來一場野生動物大冒險，探索烏龜、大象、袋鼠、天鵝、水底生物與其他飛禽走獸、魚群的生活。這場熱鬧的慶典讚頌著地球上的所有生物，並運用人類肢體力量展現出真實自我。 

《動物狂歡節》由瑟卡馬戲團藝術總監、同時也是馬戲達人的雅倫．萊弗許茲，攜手瑟卡馬戲團成員共同打造。他們將動物王國的歡樂氛圍搬上舞台，為大小朋友們帶來精緻、令人耳目一新的肢體劇場盛宴。瑟卡馬戲團以突破性的藝術概念與撼動人心的馬戲作品而聞名，藉由持續重塑馬戲表演的藝術形式，為觀眾帶來充滿挑戰又令人著迷的作品。 

聖桑的《動物狂歡節》創作於1886年，長久以來深受兒童與成年人的喜愛。這部音樂作品充滿了維多利亞時期奇幻有趣的風格，14個樂章分別以某種動物或一群動物們為主題。在瑟卡馬戲團的製作中，澳洲作曲家昆西．葛蘭特巧妙地將原版組曲重新創作並加以延伸；現居英國的澳洲籍影像設計米凱拉．法蘭奇也為此創作了精緻的動畫，讓瑟卡馬戲團的表演者在舞台上與影片共演互動。

Internationally acclaimed contemporary circus company Circa from Brisbane, Australia presents Carnival of the Animals, a blend of circus, multimedia and music. This family-friendly show magically reinvents the classic music suite by French romantic composer Camille SAINT-SAËNS. 

Depicting creatures from land, sea and sky, Circa's performers take children and their adults on a safari through the lives of the tortoise, the elephant, the kangaroo, the swan, the life aquatic and many other beasts of fur, feathers and fin. It's an exuberant celebration of all of earth's creatures and the power of our bodies to express who we really are.

Created by circus visionary and Circa artistic director Yaron LIFSCHITZ, and the Circa ensemble, Carnival of the Animals brings the joy of the animal kingdom to the stage in a sophisticated and visually stunning physical theatre extravaganza for children big and small. Circa is world-renowned for pushing artistic boundaries and creating powerful works of circus art that thrill, challenge and captivate as they constantly reimagine circus as an artform.

Written in 1886, SAINT-SAËNS'Carnival of the Animals has been adored by children and adults for many generations. It is a playful and magical work of music imbued with Victorian eccentricity whose fourteen movements each explore a specific or group of animals. For this production Australian composer Quincy GRANT artfully reworked and extended the original suites. On stage Circa performers are accompanied by and interact with sumptuously detailed animation created by UK-based Australian video designer Michaela FRENCH.

雅倫．萊弗許茲畢業於新南威爾斯大學、昆士蘭大學與澳洲國立戲劇藝術學院，更是後者著名的導演研究所課程有史以來最年輕的錄取者。畢業後，雅倫執導了超過60部作品，包括大型活動、歌劇、劇場、肢體劇場與馬戲表演。

雅倫的作品曾於六大洲40多個國家演出，累積超過150萬名觀眾，更曾獲得六座赫爾普曼獎與澳洲理事會劇場獎等無數獎項。他的作品在世界各地的重要藝術節與場館中上演，包括布魯克林音樂學院、巴比肯藝術中心、法國富維耶之夜、柏林卡密里恩劇院以及澳洲所有重要的藝術節。雅倫的電影作品曾入選德國柏林影展與墨爾本電影節。他同時也是澳洲博物館劇場單位的創始藝術總監、澳洲青少年劇場導演組的首席導師，以及澳洲國立戲劇藝術學院的常任客座導演導師。

雅倫目前是澳洲瑟卡馬戲團的藝術總監兼執行長，並擔任第21屆大英國協運動會藝術與文化項目「藝術節2018」的創意總監。

Director & Set Design｜Yaron LIFSCHITZ

Yaron LIFSCHITZ is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, University of Queensland, and National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), where he was the youngest director ever accepted into its prestigious graduate director's  course. Since graduating, Yaron has directed over 60 productions including large-scale events, opera, theatre, physical theatre, and circus.

His work has been seen in more than 40 countries and across six continents by over 1.5 million people and has won numerous awards including six Helpmann awards and the Australia Council Theatre Award. His productions have been presented at major festivals and venues around the world including Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Barbican, Les Nuits de Fourvière, Chamäleon Theatre Berlin and all the major Australian festivals.

His film work was selected for the Berlin and Melbourne Film Festivals. He was founding Artistic Director of the Australian Museum's Theatre Unit, Head Tutor in Directing at Australian Theatre for Young People and has been a regular guest tutor in directing at NIDA.

He is currently Artistic Director and CEO of Circa, and was Creative Director of Festival 2018: the arts and cultural program of the 21st Commonwealth Games.
