Free-spirited Li Lin and introverted Wu Ai-hua grow up together in a military village. Both girls fall for pilot He Kang, whose tragic death leaves them heartbroken. Later, they move to Taipei and work at a bar. Despite their separate paths, the girls reunite in their childhood village, reminiscing about their past bonds.
