自2007年起，以無法複製的卡司與精緻節目策劃為亮點，「國際芭蕾舞星GALA」 不僅是台灣年度最受矚目的舞蹈盛事，更已躍升為國際舞壇關注的重要指標性演出。彷彿芭蕾界的奧斯卡盛典，每一屆演出皆網羅全球最頂尖芭蕾舞團的首席舞星，不必遠赴世界各地，只要踏入劇院，即可一次飽覽古典與當代芭蕾的巔峰之作，感受跨越語言界限的純粹藝術之美。
十二位橫跨歐洲、美洲的國際首席舞星，跨越語言與文化界線，將齊聚一堂，帶來風格迥異的代表舞作——從古典芭蕾的極致美學，到當代創作的深刻表現，精彩不容錯過。其中，來自經典芭蕾舞劇《La Fille mal gardée》（園丁的女兒）最膾炙人口的“Fanny Elssler Pas de Deux”，本次獲得編舞家 Frederick Ashton基金會授權，將首次登上台灣舞台！這段洋溢著青春與戀愛氣息的雙人舞，舞步輕巧靈動，融合詼諧的肢體語言與高難度技巧，完美展現Ashton編舞語彙中獨有的詩意與幽默，為觀眾帶來一段既細膩又充滿生命力的田園戀曲。
已故當代編舞大師 Roland Petit 於1949年將比才的歌劇《卡門》改編為一部僅四十分鐘的舞劇，從此奠定了其在二十世紀芭蕾史上的經典地位。其中最令人難以忘懷的，莫過於卡門與唐荷西的雙人舞，這段舞蹈不僅是全劇的核心，更是一場凝聚愛、慾望與毀滅的身體對話。編舞家以大膽、現代感十足的語彙，融合西班牙風格的節奏與姿態，勾勒出卡門的性感、自信與挑釁。本次將由享譽國際的芭蕾巨星 Polina Semionova 擔綱演出卡門，她獨特的舞台魅力與深厚的藝術造詣，必將為這場經典雙人舞注入震撼人心的力量。
編舞家 Remi Wörtmeyer 的《Penumbra》則取材自畫家克林姆（Gustav Klimt）的經典名作《吻 The Kiss》。隨著拉赫瑪尼諾夫《G 小調大提琴奏鳴曲》第三樂章的低迴旋律，舞者的身體彷彿化作畫筆，勾勒出情感最細膩深刻的瞬間。作品層層鋪陳，詩意盎然，仿若置身夢境。
德國編舞家 Uwe Scholz 的《Jeunehomme》以莫札特第九號鋼琴協奏曲〈Jeunehomme〉K.271 為靈感，展現他「讓音樂看得見」的獨特才華，以純粹而精準的舞蹈語言，將莫札特音樂中的光與影、喜悅與深情轉化為鮮活舞姿，成就其最具代表性的經典之作。這些國際編舞巨擘的代表作品，即將在本次 Gala 中首度於台灣舞台呈現，帶領觀眾一次領略古典與當代交織的極致魅力。另外，西班牙編舞家 Nacho Duato 的經典代表作《Multiplicity – Forms of Silence and Emptiness》，隨著巴哈《大提琴無伴奏組曲》響起，舞者的身體化身為大提琴，顛覆你對芭蕾的想像。

Since 2007, the “International Ballet Stars Gala” has stood out with its unparalleled casting and refined programming. It has not only become the most anticipated annual dance event in Taiwan, but has also risen to international prominence as a benchmark performance recognized by the global ballet community. Often described as the “Oscars of the ballet world,” each edition gathers the principal stars of the world’s leading ballet companies. Without traveling across the globe, audiences need only step into the theater to witness the finest works of classical and contemporary ballet, and to experience the universal beauty of pure art that transcends language.
12 International Ballet Stars will come together, presenting signature works of diverse styles—from the ultimate aesthetics of classical ballet to the depth of contemporary creations—an unmissable experience. Among the highlights, the beloved Fanny Elssler Pas de Deux from the classic ballet La Fille mal gardée will make its Taiwan premiere, authorized by the Frederick Ashton Foundation. Overflowing with youthful energy and the spirit of romance, this duet blends witty gestures with virtuosic technique, perfectly showcasing the poetic elegance and humor that define Ashton’s choreographic language, offering audiences a tender yet vibrant pastoral love story.
Equally unforgettable is Roland Petit’s adaptation of Bizet’s opera Carmen, created in 1949 and acclaimed ever since as a cornerstone of twentieth-century ballet. The pas de deux between Carmen and Don José forms the heart of the work—a powerful dialogue of love, desire, and destruction. With bold and striking choreographic vocabulary infused with Spanish rhythm and flair, Petit captured Carmen’s sensuality, confidence, and defiance. For this Gala, world-renowned ballet star Polina Semionova will embody Carmen, bringing her unique stage magnetism and profound artistry to this timeless duet, ensuring an electrifying performance.
Choreographer Remi Wörtmeyer’s Penumbra draws inspiration from Gustav Klimt’s masterpiece The Kiss. Set to the poignant third movement of Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata in G minor, the dancers’ bodies become brushstrokes, sketching moments of the most delicate and profound emotion. Layered with poetic nuance, the work unfolds like a dreamscape.
German choreographer Uwe Scholz’s Jeunehomme, inspired by Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat Major, K.271, demonstrates his genius for “making music visible.” With clarity and precision, Scholz transforms Mozart’s play of light and shadow, joy and tenderness, into vivid dance, resulting in one of his most representative masterpieces.
These iconic works by master choreographers will make their long-awaited Taiwan debut at this year’s Gala, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience the sublime fusion of classical tradition and contemporary innovation.
