璀璨回歸──僅此一場，封存無法複製的芭蕾盛宴
自 2007 年起，「國際芭蕾舞星 Gala」即以「無法複製」的節目內容，成為台灣年度最受矚目的舞蹈盛事之一，更吸引海外舞迷專程來台朝聖。
頂尖國際舞星齊聚台北，帶來一場橫跨古典芭蕾殿堂與當代頂尖編舞的極致視覺饗宴。多部台灣、亞洲乃至世界首演作品齊聚一堂，是愛舞者以及表演藝術愛好者今年絕不可錯過的芭蕾盛事！
大師傳奇巨作‧台灣首演
台灣首演震撼登場，特別引進被譽為荷蘭及全球當代芭蕾巨擘、已故編舞大師 Hans van Manen 於 1996 年創作的指標性經典《The Old Man and Me》。舞作展現了大師擅長刻劃人際關係、情感角力與幽默感的高超手腕，描繪一對男女之間複雜、微妙且充滿歲月痕跡的親密關係，結合了精準的戲劇張力、帶有自嘲的幽默感，以及 Van Manen 標誌性的簡練線條，絕對是本屆必看的當代舞作。
已故編舞家Gerald Arpino 於1978年所創作的《L'Air D'Esprit》，是一部完美承襲傳統古典雙人舞結構的浪漫經典之作，本舞作特別向傳奇芭蕾舞星Olga Spessivtzeva，沙俄覆滅前尼金斯基的靈魂搭檔致敬。音樂引領觀眾重返浪漫主義的黃金年代，特別選用Adolphe Adam 的《吉賽兒》中極其罕見、難得一聞的珍貴樂段創作。紐約時報讚譽「這獨樹一格的雙人舞，被完美蛻化為充滿詩意幻想的境界。」
編舞巨擘Maurice Béjart 的獨舞作品《羅恩格林Lohengrin》，舞作取材自法國詩人馬拉梅（Stéphane Mallarmé）著名的十四行詩，並直接採用華格納歌劇《羅恩格林》第一幕的前奏曲（Prélude de l'Acte I）作為背景配樂。藉由獨舞者展現優雅且充滿內省的肢體動作，將華格納音樂中的神聖感與天鵝騎士的傳說完美結合，探討流亡、藝術與靈魂的孤獨。
《Karen Blixen 雙人舞》 源自芭蕾舞劇《白烈森Blixen》，由編舞家Gregory Dean為丹麥皇家芭蕾舞團所創作，這段舞蹈描繪了丹麥著名女作家凱倫·白烈森Karen Blixen《遠離非洲》的作者，與英國冒險家丹尼斯·芬奇·海頓（Denys Finch Hatton）在非洲相遇刻骨銘心的愛情故事，採用德布西Claude Debussy的音樂作品(Clair de Lune) 月光，是整部舞劇中最靈魂、也最讓人揪心的雙人舞。
《The Kermesse in Bruges 布魯日集市》第一幕雙人舞，為十九世紀丹麥芭蕾學派泰斗 August Bournonville 的經典浪漫喜劇舞劇，首次在台演出！舞作以輕快、充滿活力的獨特丹麥學派足尖與跳躍技巧著稱，完美勾勒出男女主角在喧囂集市中初遇時，那份羞怯、澎湃且洋溢純粹喜悅的青春愛戀，為台灣觀眾展現最純正的丹麥古典浪漫精神。
亞洲首演-當代芭蕾鉅作 ── 台北獨家登場
當代芭蕾大師 William Forsythe 經典鉅作《The Barre Project》選粹《Lullaby》，打破傳統把桿限制，將古典芭蕾的嚴謹技巧，完美融入電音奇才詹姆斯‧布雷克（James Blake）迷幻空靈的經典名曲《Lullaby For My Insomniac》。
引領當代現代芭蕾大師 David Dawson 引人入勝的《Four Seasons / Summer Duet》，搭配 Max Richter 重新編譯的經典韋瓦第音樂，交織出視覺與聽覺的極致饗宴。
世界首演‧見證歷史性一幕
《Thick Air Around Us》以作曲家及鋼琴家 Alexander McKenzie所創作的動人音樂為核心，並由編舞家 Antonio Russo 操刀編舞，為丹麥皇家芭蕾舞團主要舞者 Joseph Aumeer 量身創作，融合詩詞與舞蹈的作品，於本次 Gala「世界 Live 首演」。ㄧ同見證這位情感豐沛備受矚目的舞星，如何將深厚的古典功底，轉化為最純粹、獨特的個人身體語彙。
經典巨作‧滿足你對芭蕾的所有渴望
浪漫主義經典《仙女》雙人舞，作為芭蕾史上首創了女舞者踮起足尖起舞的先河，徹底改變了芭蕾舞蹈的樣貌。
普羅高菲夫磅礡且情感細膩的傳奇樂章《羅密歐與茱麗葉》樓台會雙人舞，精選荷蘭已故當代編舞大師 Rudi van Dantzig 經典深情之作，跳脫傳統古典框架，以流暢而深具現代感的肢體線條，是芭蕾史上最令人動容的抒情雙人舞。
炫技必看的《海盜雙人舞》、 《黑天鵝雙人舞》充滿了令人摒息的超高難度技巧，是令人熱血沸騰的古典芭蕾必看名作。

Legendary Masterpieces by Great Choreographers
Taiwan Premiere
A highlight of this year’s Gala is the Taiwan Premiere of The Old Man and Me, a landmark work created in 1996 by the late Hans van Manen, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Dutch and international contemporary ballet.Showcasing Van Manen’s unparalleled ability to explore human relationships, emotional tension, and subtle humor, the ballet portrays the complex, nuanced intimacy between a man and a woman. Combining precise dramatic structure, self-deprecating wit, and the choreographer’s signature minimalist aesthetic, this contemporary masterpiece is an absolute must-see.
L'Air D'Esprit, created in 1978 by the late choreographer Gerald Arpino, is a romantic masterpiece that beautifully honors the traditional classical pas de deux structure. This captivating piece pays a special tribute to legendary ballerina Olga Spessivtzeva, one of Vaslav Nijinsky's most soulful partners before the fall of Czarist Russia. The music guides the audience back to the golden age of Romanticism, uniquely set to a rare and seldom-heard section from Adolphe Adam’s Giselle. The New York Times praises, "Gerald Arpino’s eccentric pas de deux is transformed into poetic fantasy."
The excerpt Lullaby from contemporary ballet master William Forsythe’s classic masterpiece The Barre Project breaks traditional barre limitations, perfectly blending the rigorous techniques of classical ballet with electronic music prodigy James Blake’s psychedelic, ethereal classic track Lullaby For My Insomniac.
The Karen Blixen Pas de Deux, is a highlight from the ballet Blixen, created by choreographer Gregory Dean for the Royal Danish Ballet. It brings to life the legendary and soul-stirring romance born in Africa between Karen Blixen, the renowned Danish author of Out of Africa, and British adventurer Denys Finch Hatton. Swept away by the ethereal melodies of Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune, this exquisite duet serves as the ultimate emotional pinnacle and the most hauntingly beautiful piece of the entire production.

Thick Air Around Us receives its World Live Premiere at this year’s Gala.
Created by choreographer Antonio Russo and set to an evocative original score by composer and pianist Alexander McKenzie, the work was specially created for Royal Danish Ballet dancer Joseph Aumeer, Combining poetry and dance, the piece showcases Aumeer’s remarkable artistry, transforming his profound classical foundation into a deeply personal and distinctive movement language. Join us in witnessing the emergence of one of ballet’s most promising young stars in this historic premiere.
Timeless Classics — Fulfilling Every Ballet Lover’s Dream
The Balcony Pas de Deux from Romeo and Juliet, set to Prokofiev’s sweeping and emotionally charged score, features the deeply moving interpretation by the late Dutch choreographer Rudi van Dantzig. Departing from traditional classical conventions, the choreography employs fluid, contemporary movement to create one of ballet’s most touching and lyrical pas de deux.
No Gala would be complete without the dazzling Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, and Black Swan Pas de Deux, a spectacular display of virtuosity and breathtaking technical brilliance that continues to thrill audiences around the world.
