雄影國際短片競賽 臺灣組

今年共有近260 部臺灣短片的投件，經過為期三個月的評選，總計入圍共有 8 部劇情片、5 部動畫片、4 部紀錄片及 3 部實驗片。其中包括 6 部學生作品。影片既有當代議題的展現，也有歷史的切面與實驗；有奇幻的人我相遇，也有個人心思與社會的交擊；當然也看得見生死的幽微時刻，情感關係的裡外摸索，乃至親情與政治的傷懷探究。登上這趟影音旅次，便猶如登入了這一年來臺灣影人和島民的心與腦，感受一次次跨時跨域的創作身手。

There were nearly 260 submissions of Taiwanese short films this year. After three months of discussion, the Taiwan Competition has selected eight narrative films, five animations, four documentaries and three experimental films. Six of the selections are student works. The films deal with not only contemporary issues, but also historical subjects and experimentation. There are fantastical encounters, as well as conflicts between the individual mind and society; of course, you will also see subtle moments of life and death, examinations of emotional relationships, and even explorations of grief in family and politics. Embark on this audiovisual journey to dive into the hearts and minds of Taiwanese filmmakers and residents from over this past year, and experience their timeless creativity and cross-domain artistry over and over again.


雄影國際短片競賽 國際組

今年集結逾 2,000 部短片報名，作品來自超過 90 個國家，經過為期三個月的評選，總計入圍共有 27 部劇情片、8 部動畫片、5 部實驗片、3 部紀錄片。其中包括 13 部亞洲片。國際組向來競爭激烈，除了真人演出的劇情片之外，實驗片和動畫創作的能量，也教人十分驚豔。透過聲畫的精心調度，敘事的編寫，這些作品不僅能與普世的情感溝通，也能帶觀眾一窺不同地域和文化的生活細節。幽默、柔情的迷人追索有之，亦有悚然跌宕、驚恐和惶惶無語的出奇時刻。

There were over 2,000 submissions from more than 90 countries this year. After three months of discussion, the International Competition selected a total of 27 narrative films, eight animations, five experimental films, and three documentaries. Thirteen of the selections are from Asia. The International Competition has always been highly competitive. Apart from the live-action narrative films, the experimental films and animations are also full of amazing creative energy. Through the careful crafting of sound, images and narratives, these works not only convey universal emotions, but also give the audience a glimpse into life and culture in different regions. Expect charming moments full of humor and tenderness, as well as unexpected instances of horror, anxiety and speechlessness.


兒童評審團競賽

「兒童評審團」為高雄電影節獨樹一幟的評審機制，邀請9-12 歲兒童組成決審評審團，透過課程與討論，選出獎項得主！本單元選映適合孩子觀看或是以孩子所處世界出發的創作，形式無所拘束且百花齊放，不止於童趣的觀點、讓大人發現，專屬孩子的不再只有「可愛」二字。「兒童評審團競賽」單元今年邁入第六年，就用電影的想像力為孩子解鎖「影像超能力」！

The Children's Jury comprises children aged 9-12. Through a series of votes, discussions, and debates, they will decide the winner of the Children's Jury Award. In this program, the children's perspective, unrestrained creativity and infinite vitality will make the adults realize that "cute" is definitely not the only word for kids. In this sixth year of the Children's Jury, the imagination of cinema will help these children unlock their superpower!
